Privacy Policy
What we collect
We collect the minimum necessary to operate EjectSeat. When you search a company, we log the company name, your session identifier, and (if you're signed in) your user ID. We keep a server-side record of page visits via the /api/beacon endpoint for product analytics — this includes your IP address and user-agent, which are stored alongside each event.
If you sign up with email (magic link), we store your email address in our Supabase auth table. If you join the beta waitlist, we store your email and the signup source context.
What we don't collect
We don't sell data. We don't use third-party advertising trackers. We don't profile you for advertising. We don't share your search history with employers or anyone else.
What we do with your data
We use your search history to cache scores (so the next time you search the same company you get an instant answer). We use aggregate analytics to understand which companies people ask about most and to prioritise product work. Account emails are used only for authentication and, with your consent, product updates.
Data location and retention
Data is stored in Supabase (hosted on AWS). Analytics events are retained for 18 months. Score history is retained indefinitely to support prediction backtesting. You can request deletion of your account data by emailing enquiries.talkace@gmail.com.
Third parties
EjectSeat sends queries to Anthropic (Claude API) for analysis, to the SEC EDGAR public API, to Google News RSS, to Motley Fool for public earnings transcripts, and to Adzuna for hiring data. These services receive the company name you search but do not receive your email or account information.
